George, you caught it perfectly! Serendipity indeed :!: :!:

That is exactly what we saw, but since we had heard a bunch of coyotes yelping and cows mooing in the distance, we assumed that the aliens had just done a craniotomy on one of the cows... :lol:

Well, you were the one with the camera, and you got the shot, so enjoy a very well-deserved fifteen famous minutes! I hope the shot does get wider exposure.

Thanks, Bob, Bill and Tom! This has been exciting with this "lucky shot." I am one of four folks around the globe listed under "Bonus Shots," near the bottom of the front page of Spaceweather.com above Auroral Alerts.... May Bob's wish be granted...it is getting wider exposure...
