The dew was so bad at Stellafane that green mold overwhelmed this image of the veil. Now, if I can only figure out how to bleach it out

This is a really nice image.

Did you use an OIII filter, because that is most certainly guilty of an aqua- green tone.

Otherwise, you need to take out a channel and reassign iit with red.

Tell you more about that some time.

I purchased a new dew heater for my scope just before Stellafane and installed it at my site Thursday afternoon. It proved quite useful when a thick mist descended onto the hill where I was set up.

Great image Frank, spectacular field of view. 2.5 hours- no wonder you had plenty of time to stand around shooting the breeze with everyone!

Here's a different way of processing to reduce the greens. Thanks Mike & Tom for the suggestions. Gimp seems better than PS but having to change file formats is nuts. Now, on to reducing the overall backround reds
