SGP plate solve with Ha?

Unread post by bluemax »

Anyone using Sequence Generator Pro plate solving with Ha filter?
I am constructing a 4 panel mosaic using SGP and have successfully plate solved using a clip-in light pollution filter with my DSLR and am wondering is SGP will have any difficulty finding stars during plate solve when I use a 12nm Ha filter. Comments appreciated.

I used SGP platesolve with IDAS NB1 filter with no problems.

You may have to set the exposure time to be a little longer. I generally use 10 seconds.
