IS passes through Big Dipper and Jupiter-Saturn next to Milky Way

Unread post by menardre »

While imaging last week I also was able to capture the ISS as it passed through the Big Dipper. The animation consists of 14 ten second frames.
While waiting for the ISS I also noticed that Jupiter and Saturn were positioned next to the Milky Way, and just above the Teapot.
All of the photos were from Nikon D750 on a tripod.
Hope you enjoy them.

That ISS sequence is really cool, Roger. Your skies look as good as Stellafane!

After visiting Roger's Westport observatory I can confirm that he has REALLY dark sky and a low horizon to boot.
