M97 - The Owl Nebula

Shot this image over two recent clear nights.
Celestron HD EDGE 11" SCT, SBIG STT-8300 CCD, LUMINANCE 24 x 5min exposures, RGB each 15 x 5 min exposures

Simply gorgeous! A very difficult visual object from these parts, but this is beautiful!

That's a beautiful image, Steve, and as Mike says, not an easy one to capture I would think.

Really nice, Steve! As the others mentioned, I have found this a difficult visual object from my yard. Well Done!!!
