I have been busy all summer remodeling my observatory so I have not done any observing. Last night I decided to try and capture a Delta-Aquarids meteor. I have never tried this particular meteor shower before since it is more visible in Southern US. I setup my Nikon on a tripod and pointed it due south, just above the trees. I took about 1,000 exposures, all at 20 seconds using a Rokinon 14mm/F2.8 lens. I was able to capture a few meteors - a few were situated in the southern part of the milky way.

Nice effect with the Milky Way, Roger, I don't think I've ever seen that before. Your efforts really paid off!
