I am totally green with envy, Tom, but it's ameliorated a bit by my enjoyment of your travelogue, as always.

Umm, so, were there any stars out around your namesake nebula????  I like your capture of Antares and both of the globulars surrounding it. Nice.

For some reason, I think that few folks go to Griffith to actually observe. But it is a lovely place, and the view of LA is amazing. Just glad I don't have to live there...

After your cool-down session on the golf course, you should ask Rob about observing next to a cranberry bog.... My sprinklers are bigger than your sprinklers!!!!!!

Very nice Tom! Is there any silly stuff like polar align and all that with the Astrotrack? I am thinking about wide angle imaging and will try with a CG5-GT and stock Canon Rebel.

Tom, I.m sorry to be responding so late. I do find all the photos inspiring I only wish i had the patience to try that someday, but right now (as for astronomy) I am still in a learning stage. Fortunately, we have talented people like you and others to inspire us.Thank you for sharing your passion for photography with us, it is appreciated. :P :P
