I'll comment on this soon. I've got to read what's been going on while I was playing in IS.

O.K., I'm back! Dang if I don't see the "heart" too! Rorschach has got us by the... soul (to put
it nicely)! The skull has turned into King Kong!!! This is scary!!! The good doctor is proving us all
nuts!!!!
If we are not quite ready for the REVEAL, I have a informative question:

Does anyone see ANYTHING or ANYONE on the FACE of the Moon? If so, please
honestly transmit your interpretation. You will not be judged by anyone living.

A weird smiley face?

PS - I did not look at the file name when downloading this picture to rotate it...blame my hinky neck for not being able to tip my head upside down.

Mike,

Yes, you have turned the image completely upside down! Yes, this is a weird smiley face, but
it is NOT the answer. Strange as it Seems, this is very close to the solution.
There IS however, an image of a buffalo with a wolf's head in the lower right of the original image. He
could be a cow, also...with a wolf's head.

O/K, back to your original image...it's a giant baby seal with a tatoo of Olive Oil (as in Popeye's gal) on it's neck.

That's it! I'm not giving you any more data. I can see it now...Ahem, Mr M. did you by chance see a random smattering of objects in a simple picture of clouds in front of the moon? Well, did you?

If there are wolves and buffalo in this image, it must be an Indian face on the moon. And even though there were no buffalo in Florida or Indiana, I'm guessing Osceola or Tecumseh who both had head dresses with horizontal feathers rather than vertical.

My big problem with Rorschack tests is that I always see ink blotches...........

Wait a minute, the OTHER boys from Liverpool! Frankie Vaughn???????????? Nope, don't see him at all. Nothing but ink blotches, er... clouds.

I neglected to mention that Bill's moon has a polar coordinate grid on it as well. All we're missing is the green cheese.

Having tapped into NASA's computer for the latest lunar surveyor images:

I can assure you that it's there :P

While going over my skazillions of images, I stopped to take in the memories of the night I obtained this
particular one. I had finally captured the Moon the way I wanted it with clouds.
Then, I noticed a monochrome face-like image within the moon's disc.
What this is, for What's This? #12 is a photo of (drum roll) The Man in the Moon!
I think being able to see this would probably cause Dr. Rorschack to roll over in his grave out of total confusion.

Let me know if I'm as cuckoo as you all! I'm concerned because no one mentioned a human face on the round lunar palette.
Can you see what I imagine I see?? Disregard any part of the brighter Moon's disc when looking for the my Man in the Moon.
Tilt your computer screen so that all details described below can be seen. Sit back 2 or 3 feet or look at the smaller full image.
Interesting things about the image are the face seems to be looking down on the Earth towards the lower right.
He seems to have a Mohawk haircut, or at least, little hair with a wide, almost handlebar mustache with a roundish
face, darkish skin and is on the older side. His dark, left ear only, shows at the 8:00 position of Luna's disc.
I'm curious to see what Rorschack looked like!
The facinating thing is that I never noticed the other "images" in the image! But, YOU GUYS DID!! This made #12 one
of my favorites of all! YOU ALL WIN this one.

Many thanks for all the great input!!

And the PRIZE is....A night out with the LADY in the Moon!!!! or the RABBIT, or, Rorschack's ghost!! Whichever is available.
