FREEBIES!

Unread post by Pete »

I’m overwhelmed with equipment and books. And need to clean out.

Much of my hubris consists of small telescopes and binoculars that I’m keeping for astro class loaners or for hands-on at outreach. But there’s some other good stuff that should find itself a new home.

My only stipulation is that those accepting these freebies do not resell them. In the event that multiple people want the same item preference will be given based upon membership seniority.

All items will be available at the January meeting. If you want something be there as I’ll not be holding them longer.

Hi Pete,

What an awesome gesture to give all this stuff away to interested parties! Thank you!

If nobody has claimed them yet, I'd offer to take the following off your hands;

The 16x80 Orion Binos,

The Luginbuhl and Skiff handbook,

The Tirion and Crossen hardcover binocular book.

If any of these items become unused by me I will return the gesture by re-donating them to someone interested in them.

Jeepers, Pete, there's some amateur favorites there!!
I have never looked thru bino-viewers before, so I'd like to try those out.
And if no one has claimed the two sun books, I raise my hand.
Like Mike said, if they don't work out for me, I'll gladly re-post here.
Again, this is very generous of you.
See you Saturday.

Disposition of these goodies will be made at Saturday's meeting. In cases where there are several folks wanting the same item I'll base things on club seniority.

Pete,
That is very generous of you. I unfortunately will have to attend this weekends meeting online but I hope everyone gets something to benefit their love of astronomy.

I'm planning on laying out stuff around 6:30, and won't be sticking around for too long after the meeting. Getting dibs on something pre-meeting is advised.

I'm out of the mix. I have to attend on Zoom this evening. Enjoy, everybody!
