On Monday night into Tuesday we could possibly be treated to a meteor storm of over 1000 meteors per hour. This is a result of us passing through the fragmented debris of 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 which many of us observed breaking up in our own telescopes. The ideal time to see the cosmic display is from 12:45 to 1:17 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May, 31.
Lets hope its a good one, we have a moonless night and it is suppose to be clear. Fingers crossed.

Re: Possible Meteor Storm
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reminder!!
I spoke about the details of this at the Cosmic Coffeehouse ZOOM Meeting (where were you?)
I will be on a lake in Plymouth, MA with a camera pointed at the sky.

Hi Steve,
I knew the Cosmic Coffeehouse was a thing that you had planned to do. Sadly I didn't see the reminder till after the get together. Maybe I will catch the next one if it's a night that I am not working.
Lets hope for another memorable night in astronomy.
