Well, shoveling a path out to the pier was the hard part. The 12" wasn't that heavy back in 2004. Note the outlets on the pier. It beat setting up from scratch.
As frequently happens, there is a super clear night forecast following today's major storm. The dome's cleared off and operational. With the forecast wind and temperature in the teens a roll of wouldn't work for this old man. Very thankful that I was able to barter with Carrie and get the observatory in exchange for a new living room couch.Pete P.
