Image posting

Unread post by Pete »

For many years I've been saving my images/pictures to my personal website. And there's a question as to how many thousand pictures can be posted until my host gets involved. Where are you guys caching your images these days?

I store all my photos locally on my PC then upload them to wherever I want to share them at the moment which is usually here or on Facebook.

OK Tim. So one can upload an image to the forum directly from a computer file? I've always had to post the image to my website and then use a link here on the forum. No joy with a direct copy and paste operation.

Pete when you post on the BB before you hit "submit" scroll down, there are 2 tabs, click on attachments. I think there may be a size limit, 1 meg perhaps? IDK for sure...

This one was on TV :o A personal best as far as the Red Planet's concerned. Never seen it so high in the sky and that makes a great difference.

I'll be hosting a stargazing event on Oct 28th with a planetary theme. All the outer planets, including the moon will be viewable and during the course of the event, I plan on photographing them all.
