There was some interest in the electrically heated jacket liner I'd demonstrated at last night's meeting, so here's a basic link:

There's all kinds of heated garments marketed to bikers and one can follow the above link back to gloves, pants, etc.

While heated clothing is really neat and will sustain you for hours of cold environment, a cold weather coverall is really the key to zero degree observing. This is the one I've got, and for $69 it's rated to -20°

I got a similar suit from the same outfit Pete, I opted for the one with the hood. I think it was another $20 but really worth considering for those thinking of getting one of these cold weather coveralls

Amazon smiles has heated vests which probably accomplish the same thing (I don't think the jacket arms are heated) for less, ranging from about $70 down to $30
