Unread post by Stargrrl »

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory will be livestreaming the Mercury Transit at https://mercurytransit.gsfc.nasa.gov/2019/

ASSNE Member Tim W will attempt to livestream the transit on ASSNE's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ASSNE1/

Locally, Mercury will touch the sun's edge around 7:36 am and exit on the other side at 1:04 pm, on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11.

The next transit won't be til 2032, the next visible from the US not until 2049!
