Perhaps you've spotted this asterism before. This quaint chain of stars is nearly 3 degrees long in the constellation Camelopardalis. Took a single 3-minute CCD test exposure through a 3-inch refractor.
Very close to Rigel in Orion
This area is a very busy area with lots of satellite traffic, but I have NEVER seen one take a turn like this.
Have you ever heard of such a thing?
