Very impressive, nice job on M81.
I set this image as my screen saver on a large monitor and am curious about some detail: on the left side just past the core, there seems to be some somewhat vertical (slightly diagonal) lines of material. Could this be part of the galaxy? Or, an artifact?

Mark, I agree with Roger on back focus. I wrestled with this as well a few years ago and tweeking the shims, got a better result.

I was imaging that night and saw it pass near my object (NGC7822 and NGC7635) I couldn't stop my setup to slew to catch it but is was sure neat seeing it!

Nice wide angle stuff Tom! You mentioned L-enhance....is that filter the reason for all the nice reds in NGC7000 area?
