Hi Roger: As for your reprocessing, IDK, seems like you went too far the other way as far as saturation. On my screen anyways, it also looks a little on the purple side. On a side note, I did get a trial license for PI over the weekend and have spent a little time with it. Watched a basic beginners ...

That's quite a spectacular improvement Roger, congrats. I agree that you probably pushed color saturation a bit, however the increased detail is superb. I look forward to seeing your future images and your result is making me consider taking the PI plunge. Thanks for sharing.

Received the filter step down rings for my Canon 200mm f/2.8 prime telephoto lens last Friday. Though the night wasn't great for imaging, I was able to experiment using the rings to see how they would work for eliminating the large spikes around very bright stars as seen in my Pleiades image above. ...
