Re: M33, M45 and C/2022 E3 dusk to dawn
As you mention, Pete, improved processing skills are demonstrated here, especially with M45. It has few rivals. M33 is nice and sharp and the refractor does seem to help with that. Loved the Comet image! And I can't believe you found enough time to image at all in this seemingly endless stretch of g...

Really beautiful, Steve. I thought this was a computer generated graphic at first. I had no idea this existed. The spikes really show it off.

A beautiful image, Roger. I didn't know about this one, so very pleased to learn about it. Those are really nice tight luminous stars as well. And you had some extra good guiding there.
Was this a 6 hour period of subs?

That's the one that never disappoints. I like how you blended the shorter exposures to show the core stars. A beautiful image once again Steve.
That system looks pretty impressive, too.

Re: NGC 7662 Blue Snowball Nebula
Hi Roger,
I don't know if anyone has achieved anything beyond "just ok" imaging the Snowball. I think it's a bit like seeing a picture of Union St in downtown New Bedford after you've been looking at pictures of the sunny Grand Canyon all year.
Nice craftsmanship, though!

Re: Heart & Soul
Very nice, Pete. Yes, it is so wonderful getting out earlier.
I have imaged these as a duo group with a 100mm lens and run into the same processing issues with the color.
That aside, I think you've really produced two very dynamic images.
