Glad to hear your satisfied with them Bill! More power to you my friend. I'm not sure I'd pay that much for 70 degrees(for many reasons but mostly because I have empty pockets :lol: ) but you can't beat a nice flat field etc. I'll have to take a peek someday when you tow them along.

Looking at the general publics response(overwhelmingly positive), I'd say it was a great success. Now let's see if the general public sticks with it. If they do, that's all I can ask. What WE may not have been satisfied with, will probably Impress the general viewer. :P

Saw it tonight EASILY. You are correct Andy-no averted vision needed! I started with 25mm UO MK25, moved up to 12mm UO Konig and finally settled on the ES82 8.8mm eyepiece. All views were easy peasy. I brought out the big refractor for this one, plunked it down on my walkway about 3 feet from my sid...

People are still spotting it easily over the weekend. I'm hoping to catch it Tuesday as it looks like the best chance weather-wise so far.
