Hello all.
Once again I give you yet another book review. I was told about this book by Dan L and decided to look it up online at the site that he gave me. The book is created by Created by lunar scientist Charles Wood and amateur astronomer Maurice Collins and I have to say is well put together. it makes me want to go out and observe ole Luna. It is in spiral bound form (which I like when observing) and it has 109 glossy pages.
The nice part about this book are the images of the moon and how they are illustrated in the book. The left hand page in the book highlights points of interest. The right hand page show an area map of the moon along with a small segment map to show you what zone to look for the highlighted objects on the left.
If your interested in this book you can purchase it from this website and for those who like them, one of the authors Charles Wood will personally sign it. http://lpod.wikispaces.com/21st+Century ... f+the+Moon

Re: Book Review: 21st Century Atlas of the Moon
Paul,
I have this book as well and agree that it's a nice piece of work. One thing you might want to do is go to the corrections page http://lpod.wikispaces.com/Atlas+Corrections and mark up your book with at least the important ones. Lots of it is the misspelling of names of features, etc., but some of it has to do with correcting chart references and whatnot. I just used a sharpie on mine to make the corrections, and now my book has that special character that will make it really valuable someday.
