Super Hunter's Moon - Oct 15-16

Unread post by Stargrrl »

The Hunter's Moon provides several nights of dusk-to-dawn moonlight. And this October, the full (or nearly so) moon is also as supermoon. It's the first of this year’s three full-moon supermoons in a row -- that is, full moons near perigee, or the moon’s closest point to Earth for the month.

Next month's full moon will be the largest & closest so far this century! http://earthsky.org/tonight/most-super-supermoon
