After finding Saturn, head down south, across the border, and take a look at the mexican hat galaxy - M104.
Always one of my favorites, it show a nice dark dust lane, and is generally visible with a fairly small scope. And gets awesome with a little aperture.
Can you see the central bulge?

I will seriously search M104 out with the 8 inch SCT and then in the binos...good weather predicted this week...

All though this should be in the image thread, But the subject here is M104. Here is a pic I did last year. It's shot with a 120mm refactor @f/5 using a Sbig ST 7.

Wow Joe!
I missed your post while I was on a work trip. That's a good shot of the galaxy. I'm no expert, but if you streched out the grey levels you might see more of it.
