Re: Algol - A demonic variable star - ALGOL NIGHT!

Unread post by BobSikes »

Algol is dimming TONIGHT! :P

 Stupid New England Weather.

But the 25th looks hopeful. Algol may have begun to dim by the time its dark enough to see it, but at least you won't have to wait so long for it to rebrighten. It will be mid-April before we catch another dimming at night, and Algol is sinking into the west. Let's hope the clouds help us out Thursday night

Yeah. I have been wanting to move to New Mexico. Perseus is waaay low in the NW for me and I've tried recently...lots of trees. I think I shall try Colt's State Park on Thursday. Good NW view over water. Maybe view will be affected by Providence light dome... I will go early and ask the State Troopers/Park Police for special permission to stay after dark...
