M81/NCG3031/Bode's Nebula M82/NCG 3034/Cigar Galaxy

==========================================
Work in progress, but figured it was worth sharing for those who attended the first informal remote imaging session on 2/20. Those who attended got to see how the data for this was being captured.
Sadly, my North-Eastern sky is terribly, terribly light polluted making this much harder than it could be. Now with the Moon conflicting I'm going to have to wait until later in the month to continue the acquisition process, but plan on adding 8 more hours - weather permitting.
It's also a nice example of how one can progress in this segment of the hobby. I shot this in 2015 as one of my very first images. This is nice leap forward even with just the 8.7 hours and light pollution.

Andy,
Thanks. I'm doubtful I'll ever get any IFN given the sky quality I'm dealing with combined with the short exposures required, but we'll see.
Rebekah, thanks for saving this post! I'll just re-add the embedded link to the image to this post as I can't seem to edit the original post above. No worries.

Very nice image Ron. Look forward to the final result with the added integration time.

Looks great, Ron. Looks like you put a lot of nights into this one. Nice capture of the red in M82. You've certainly proven that lots of short exposures do produce quality images.
