In honor of this week's announcement that the estimated number of galaxies in the visible universe has been revised upwards by a factor of 10 to 2 trillion galaxies, here are a couple of galaxy cluster images from the remote obs.

Re: Two Galaxy clusters - Abell 2199 and Abell 2666
Very very nice Andy! Isn't it interesting in Abel 2666 how the cluster is so tight with all the various types of galaxies on parade so closely packed together. I know the spacing between and relative size of each is to be considered but, what a sight it would be if such a cluster was nearby say, associated with M31. Our night sky would be so awesome to view!
Thanks for another beauty!

Incredible! Every time I see one of these galaxy cluster images I'm amazed by the density of the field. It just re-ups the big question - are we alone?

Spectacular Andy, a feast for the eyes and imagination. As I know I'll never reach your level of expertise, at least I know where to turn to see the best. As always, thanks for sharing.
