Markarian's chain

Unread post by AndyG »

I'm so far behind on processing images. Here's one from data I collected in March. The galaxies are part of the Virgo cluster, with this stretch of galaxies often referred to as Markarian's chain. The large elliptical is M86. Clicking on the image takes you to a page with higher resolution versions and acquisition information.

Andy,

NASA called and asked that you please stop taking control of the Hubble Telescope.

Great image as always.
