Photoshop stacking
Photoshop stacking
Is there anyone out there that can sit down with me and physically show me how to sack images in Photoshop ?

Re: Photoshop stacking
there's been the idea of an imaging workshop batted around a bit, in fact Rebekah and I were just talking about it after the last meeting- lets get some more interest going and then we'll find someone who knows what they are doing to teach us

Re: Photoshop stacking
Actually, one stacks images in Registax, not Photoshop. It was freeware last time I looked.

Re: Photoshop stacking
I would be happy to participate (or even teach) in an astrophotography processing session. I use DeepSky Stacker for stacking (freeware) and Photoshop for everything else.

Re: Photoshop stacking
I would also be happy to be a participant in an astrophotography processing workshop. I have used Deep Sky Stacker and usually use Gimp for further processing. I lack a clear understanding of much of the terminology used in the programs.

Re: Photoshop stacking
Great Mike! I think we should keep it at the beginner level, we can always offer an intermediate workshop down the road.

Re: Photoshop stacking
Yes I would love that also. I use Deep Sky Stacker, but when I move that finished product into Photoshop, it tells me I can't do it for some reason. I'll keep looking for the answer.

Re: Photoshop stacking
I'd be interested in this myself. I'm still in the process of learning and acquiring equipment but actually haven't even taken my first image of anything yet. I have purchased the latest versions Backyard EOS, Nebulosity and played around with some test images in Nebulosity. I'd be open to any type of workshop at this point. ---- Chuck
