NGC 7331

Image

Click image for higher resolution version and acquisition details.

Data was collected for several nights over the last month from my backyard in North Attleboro. This was the first image taken with a new QSI 640 camera. The camera's 7.4 um pixels give me 0.72 arcsec/pixel with the 12.5 in scope and the FOV is 24.4 arc-minutes square.

That is fantastic, Andy. One of my favorite DSOs and you've really made it up front and spectacular!

Wow, that is really, really cool! You must be at the highest point in North Attleboro to get that clear of a view.

I got a nice astro-imaging setup for sale cheap if anyone wants it! Maybe go back to woodworking or hanging out at the VFW. Thanks a lot Andy, it's all your fault!

Then again, perhaps I am now inspired (the education obviously didn't take) and will give it one more go...seriously, thanks for sharing Andy, what another great image you have there!
