Albireo (β Cyg, β Cygni, Beta Cyg, Beta Cygni)

Albireo (β Cyg, β Cygni, Beta Cyg, Beta Cygni) is the fifth brightest star in the constellation Cygnus.

Cloudy nights has an imaging challenge thread going for Albireo. Figured I'd toss one in there.

Nice shot Ron. This is one of my favorite doubles and never get tired observing it. Thanks for sharing.

Well...I was just congratulated by Cloudynights:

"You have won the Sept. 2015 B&II Imaging challenge. As the winner, it is your honor to select the Nov. target, and please post it ... as soon as you can so I can post that challenge."

I think the drawing is at random for us Beginners/Intermediate imagers, but still cool. Anyone have a favorite target in November they'd like to nominate for the Beginners/Intermediate imagers out there?

I'm going to do some research tonight and come up with a few...nothing overly difficult, but something that will be a little/slight challenge.

I think I've got a favorite now. After looking for something that would be high enough in the East around 7-8:00pm. M34 / NGC 1039. It's a nice large, bright open cluster in Perseus.
