Awesome Andy, and very appropriate because every time I view one of your images it does look like we are going into the Twilight Zone.

Amazing productivity throughout the winter Andy! And I agree with Pete - you've got that equipment working at the top of its game. How's the air, thin up there?

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm rather pleased with how this one came out. It was somewhat of a project getting all the exposure time for the mosaic, and I got to use a technique I learned at the SWAP imaging conference for stitching the panels of the mosaic together.

Actually I've looked at the exploded image with a magnifying glass and the stars are still perfect. Almost tempted to project it on my big TV just to see how far it can be enlarged. Most of my stuff falls apart if you enlarges past 5" X 7"

Absolutely stunning, Andy....Have I said the same thing about all of your other images? I may just cut and paste from now on. I'm running out of descriptive praises.
No, that would be so gauche. I must try something new...

You are beyond fantastic. You are the Ansel Adams of the galactic wilderness.
You are the Robert Mapplethorpe of all that is celestially exotic.
You are the Richard Avedon of celebrity stars.
You are the Diane Arbus of all that is cosmically odd.

Wow Tom, I appreciate the compliments, but some of those comparisons MAY be a little over the top.

Anyway, I did enjoy looking into those photographers, amazing stuff.

Andy, like Tom is suggesting is that the efforts of your work are remarkable. As a suggestion, for our astronomy event at the library, you should set up a slide program to display yours and other members images on a monitor continuosly running so that all attending may see what they could enjoy doing.
