In response to the Sun's recent jolt of activity, I sat in a cornfield last Friday night in hopes of catching some aurora which is typically quite elusive at 42* north latitude. As such I popped off 150 thirty five second images of the sky facing N/NE with the camera on a tripod. At the very least I figured I might be able to make a star trails image. This is from along Rte105 in Middleboro, about 1 mile from the Halifax line. The skyglow to the left is in the direction of the cities of Brockton/Randolph/Boston, etc. The glow to the right is from the rising waning gibbous moon.
