The Bull Chases the Moon!

Unread post by WCGucfa »

It was an almost lost April evening when I spied Taurus the Great Bull try to catch a racing Luna to the
southwest horizon. He nudged the retreating dusty sphere with his horns, in hope of taking the lead!
It was all for naught, for each starry horn that touched the fat crescent disappeared piece by piece.
I didn't think I would see any of this due to the clouds and fast sinking Moon and stars. Only time for one shot!
Reddish Aldebaran (alpha Tauri) glows at upper left of center.
