That looks like a match Bill

Mike mass shouldn't affect the transit time, only altitude. Recall Galileo showing heavy objects and lighter objects fall at the same speed

That does look like a good match, Bill. I'm still a bit curious about the 8+ second transit time though. The radial velocity doesn't fit our observation when we compare it to what we know, ie; the ISS.
It's off to the Kahn Academy for me!

The ISS is in low orbit so it has to move fast to stay up. An object higher up has to move slower, or it would fly off into space

Excellent mystery, Bill!!!

As much as I want it to be a UFO, I think you solved this one. If the "timing" fits, wear it!
It's tough going by the shape not fitting the mystery object. Considering all the turbulance going on, I think the
shape of your object also fits.
You could also ask the bunch of experts at Spaceweather. com.
Send them your image (which they would probably publish) with all your info. They probably could tell us all about it!
I know there are tons of experts to ask, but Spaceweather.com would probably jump right on it, and you know they're really big
on Sun/satellite news.

I guess it doesn't really matter which spacecraft it really was, does it!?
Spaceweather probably would have told you, and all the fun would be over.

I personally think it was the UFO Buzz Aldren saw way back when. Tell that to the Vimeans!
Or possibly it was a dam ol' CLOID! !
