Unread post by Stargrrl »

I was out shooting along the cape cod canal last night -- got some nice shots of the Moon and Mars over the Sagamore Bridge (click on photos to see full length without scroll bars):

Beautiful images, Rebekah! From an astronomy point of view I like the conjunction in the first image, but I especially like the composition and lighting of the second one.

Thank you everyone! I did a bunch of exposures to try doing star trails as well, now I just need to learn the software :)

Don't want to hijack your thread, but you probably know the answer... freeware to turn a series of still images into video?

Hi Bruce, Windows Movie Maker is free online, and I read that is an easy program for doing so (something else I need to learn how to do).

Thanks Rebekah!
I KNEW we had just talked about this- but I couldn't remember the answer... but I had my memory jogged in the comments section of your link, a month ago Don B suggested PINNACLE!
