PANSTARRS "two" (C/2012 K1)as I call it, is still entertaining in the high circumpolar sky.
On 5/2/2014 it was in Canes Venatici, shining at a respectable 8.5 mag.
It was certainly not the PANSTARRS Pete Peterson and I had seen a year ago (3/13/13)
over 100 Acre Cove in Barrington, just after sunset. Nevertheless, it was worth the chase, in order to chalk up
my 35th comet.
It was easily visible at 25x using averted vision on the two nights I viewed it through annoying thin cloud.
In these images N is up E is right.

Cha-ching! 35 and counting!
Thanks for posting the image, the tail is unmistakable. But no contest for that 3/13/13 beauty.
