Here is an image of M106 I have been working on. I collected subs during new moon periods in February, March, and April. I got about 19 hours of usable subs in all. It took that long for the weaker parts of the image to start to overcome the light pollution noise (9 miles North of downtown Providence).
Clicking on the image goes to a page with acquisition info and a link to a higher resolution version. Thanks for looking.

Re: M106
WOW !!, Andy, a truly remarkable image. At 19 hours ( and that's just the useable subs? ) you sure earn your results and your accolades.

Funny, M106 doesn't look like that in my binos??? Love the 3D effect in the spiral arms! This image has real depth. It looks like waves of material heading for the center of the drain.
