Observing log for All Saints Academy viewing of 9 Nov 06

Bob Magnuson did the coordinating on this one. So all I had to do was to show up. I picked up George H on the way down to our viewing site at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. Bob M, Brian T were already setting up as we pulled in. The sky is quite dark here. Ken Costa used the sanctuary extensively for viewing with his school’s astronomy club. Unfortunately it was so dark that I tripped over one of George’s instrument cases while carrying my 50-pound tripod. Big time ouch. Spence joined us before the school group arrived.

Hi Pete,
Great report, as always. Sorry I couldn't join you guys but Meredith and I had dinner plans with friends. I'd like to join you the next time the bird sanctuary is available. I love a dark sky.
