dowloadable Jpl 80th anniversary calendar

Unread post by mrgizmo65 »

In today' J.P.L. newsletter was the story of how and when J.P.L. was formed It started back in 1936 with 4 amateur rocket hobbiests i southern california and has grown to be THE authority on robotic exploration of space. To comemorate that, they have made up a calendar that can be downloaded from their site. On the front cover are depictions and archive photos of key events during the 80 years leading up to the 80 anniversary . All of this would of never happened if it weren't for a professor from Worcester Massachusetts that stirred everyone's imagination, Dr. Robert Goddard.
