Title: Exoplanet Q&A

Imagine being able to observe planets transiting distant stars with AMATEUR equipment! WOW!

What equipment is needed?

If you or a friend can image deep sky objects (nebula, exploding stars, galaxies etc.) with a CCD camera you have all the equipment needed to observe transiting exoplanets. All you are missing is the “know how” and the willingness to learn a fascinating new skill.

Observing exoplanets is not for everyone. As one amateur put it, “If it were easy it would NOT be for me”.

However, it is being done right now. Consider joining these space adventurers.
