Directions to Carpenter Museum

(Those familiar with the vicinity may come up with more direct routes.  Many ASSNE members find driving the back roads of Rehoboth to be a significant shortcut.)

From Rt. 44 traveling West , take Rt. 118 South. Turn right at the flashing yellow light. (Skip next line.)

From Rt. 6 , take Rt. 118 North. Turn left at the Second flashing yellow light onto County Street.

Go straight at the stop sign. You are now on Bay State Road.  Follow Bay State for about 1/4 mile until you see a pretty white church (Rehoboth Congregational) on your left.  The church is at 139 Bay State road and the intersection with Locust street.  The Carpenter Museum fronts Locust, but the parking lot is around back.  So as you drive along Bay State, take the dirt driveway on the left immediately after passing the paved church driveway/parking lot.  A small white Carpenter Museum sign may or may not be present at the end of the dirt driveway.

From Rt. 44 traveling East , you will pass a golf driving range type sports complex on your right just before entering Rehoboth.  About a mile into Rehoboth you will see a large brown sign with an arrow for Francis Farm.  Take a right here onto Bay State Road.  Go slowly as Bay State twists and turns for approximately ¾ mile until you see a pretty white church (Rehoboth Congregational) on your right.  The church is at the intersection of Bay State road and Locust street.  The Carpenter Museum fronts Locust, but the parking lot is around back.  So as you drive along Bay State, take the dirt driveway on the left immediately before the paved church driveway/parking lot.  A small white Carpenter Museum sign may or may not be present at the end of the dirt driveway.
